SNAP News
Hello everyone, we hope you have had a great summer. Fall is just around the corner, and we have some more fun events planned, like a Chiefs watch party, an Autumn barn dance, a game night, and of course, our end-of-year holiday dance.
We are also looking for sponsors and volunteers to help with events by volunteering their time or financially sponsoring an event. Please share our organization with all your business friends. Thank you for your continued support!
You may mail membership renewals to SNAP at 1208 S 16th ST, Leavenworth, KS 66048, or bring them to an event. Donations/Membership is now $15 a year for singles and $25 for a family.
UPCOMING EVENTS
September 24th - Board Meeting Leavenworth Public Library at 6:00 PM. The agenda will be to finalize the remainder of the year's events and propose new board members. September is also the time for Donation/Membership renewal time
September 28th - Football Watch Party at Riverside Resources, Kickoff is 3:25 pm. Snacks will be provided.
October 18th - Autumn Dinner/Dance 6:00-8:00 pm Barn Dance. The location is 10870 North K-92 Highway, McLouth, Kansas 66054. (Participants must have their own transportation to and from the dance) (Costumes may be worn, but PLEASE nothing scary, like witches, etc.) See attached directions below.
November 15th – Movie/Game Night 1200 at Riverside Resources. Hot dogs, chips, and popcorn will be provided.
December 6th - Annual Meeting/Dinner/Dance, 6:00 – 8:00 PM, at Riverfront Community Center, Holiday themed.
